Lee started his Police Career in June 1995 with the City Of Meadows Place Police Department, where he served as a patrol officer, until he joined the La Porte Police Department in January 1997. Lee worked several different divisions, such as patrol, Field training Officer and bicycle patrol. Lee then moved to CID, where he worked as a Juvenile detective and a narcotic detective where he was assigned to a multi-agency narcotic task force.
Lee then promoted to Sergeant in July 2007. As a Sergeant, Lee worked evening shift patrol for 5 years before moving to Support Services Sergeant for approximately the last 8 years. During Lee’s tenure as a Sergeant, he has overseen many areas such as, patrol, K9’s, Field training supervisor, School resource Officers, Police area Representatives, DARE, Training and Recruiting, Citizens Police Academy, Citizen Volunteer Program, Blue Santa program, National Night Out and many Community Outreach Programs.
