The City of La porte asks that you separate your brush (tree limbs, grass clippings, etc) from your household trash for heavy trash day. The free mulch we offer is the result of grinding and composting the brush that citizens put on the curb. Residents should bring a pickup truck or trailer to be loaded, or their own bags and shovels for self-service.

Although we cannot deliver mulch, we have expanded availability to residents by placing mulch at the eight locations listed about and on Saturdays from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm we can assist in loading mulch.
