La Porte Dogfish Swim Team - is a competitive swimming program. In order to qualify for the team, you must be able to swim 25 yards. For registration or information, please contact Rita at 713-946-4245 or Wendy at 281-471-2031.

Kid's Night Out - September 14, 2012 - We will be going to Cici's Pizza and then roller-skating. Cost is $13 per child. Ages 8 - 18. Drop off is at 5:30pm at 1322 S. Broadway, La Porte Recreation & Fitness Center. Pre-registration is REQUIRED!!

Youth Basketball Clinic- Participants will be given instruction on fundamentals of basketball.  Skills will include dribbling, ball control, passing, outside shooting and the skills involved in playing all postitions.  The clinic will be held June 11th-27th at the Recreation Fitness Center every Monday and Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for ages 7-13.  The cost is $10 per child which includes a t-shirt.  Maximum participants is 60.  Registration will begin June 1st.

Track & Field Program- This comprehensive youth track & field program gives youth the opportunity to compete at Local, Regional, and State Levels in a multitude of events.  Fees are $40 for first child and $35 for each additional child.  The program will be held June 4th-July 29th, Monday through Friday at the La Porte High School, ages 6-18.  Fees include T.A.A.F. and Hershey registration, transporation to all local and regional meets, t-shirt, as well as instruction in proper techniques for various track and field events.  Registration will begin June 1st.
