Recreation & Fitness Center Updates

A sign that reads, "Updates"

Dear Valued Members,

I would like to wish all of you a Happy Holidays and prosperous new year!  I would also like to thank all of you who took time to complete our first survey.  This is something we plan to do more of in the future.  They will always be limited in scope, focus on customer service, and solicit information that will help us make decisions on how to better server you.   Again, thank you for taking the time to assist us with future planning.

Over the last few months, we have seen some changes occurring at the Recreation & Fitness Center.  Over the next two years we will see even greater changes as we renovate the facility and continue to update the equipment and services we provide.  These changes will occur in 2 phases with phase one beginning in 2023.  Phase one will see changes to the workout and exercise areas as well as a renovation of the locker rooms and entrance to the facility.  Phase one is expected to be completed by end of summer, early fall.  Phase two planning will begin this year with construction expected to begin in 2024 / 2025.  Soon we will be sharing more details concerning phase 1 in the display case at the front of the fitness center.

We are committed to continue to meet our member’s needs.  We currently have comment cards at the front desk and as stated above we will be conducting occasional surveys.  If you identify a piece of equipment you would like to see us add, or a piece that you feel needs replacing, please let us know.  Also, as always, please do not hesitate to tell us how we are doing!

Respectfully,

Tim Miller

Director, Parks and Recreation
