Fire Prevention Week & Domestic Violence Awareness Month Proclomations

At Mondays City Council Meeting, Mayor Rigby declared October 9-15 as Fire Prevention Week. Council Chambers were filled with La Porte Firefighters for this proclamation! 

In addition, October was proclaimed Domestic Violence Awareness Month! In honor of this month, join us for The Inaugural Domestic Violence Awareness Symposium which will take place on Thursday, October 20, 2022, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM at San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas.
